My world has always revolved around food. Good food. Cheap food. Everybody loves food no matter what time of the day. Being Italian and having parents that made the kitchen the central location of our house, I was always welcome in the kitchen. Food reminds me of friends, family and good times. I hope to share good things through this small corner of the Internet.

Another thing I love about cooking are the gadgets. I love kitchen gadgets. There is something for everything. While some are completely pointless and a waste of precious drawer space, this little gadget is awesome.
This stick of butter holder is my latest find. It has an end on the lid to cut and the side of the container has lines for measuring. No reason to save the paper to figure out where the tablespoon markings are when you have this. I purchased it at Birmingham Bake & Cook Company.
