My world has always revolved around food. Good food. Cheap food. Everybody loves food no matter what time of the day. Being Italian and having parents that made the kitchen the central location of our house, I was always welcome in the kitchen. Food reminds me of friends, family and good times. This is the perfect breakfast recipe because all the prep is done the night before. This is the photo of the beginning prep of Butterscotch Rolls. The topping is butter, brown sugar and the cooking kind of butterscotch pudding. As long as you butter the pan really well, it will flip out after cooking with ease. Usually saved for special occasions, a birthday for a friend worked as the special day.
This is sometimes called monkey bread because you pull apart the rolls once cooked, we looked up the history of monkey bread and it failed to give us a good reason for the name. So, I will call it Butterscotch Rolls since I know what that means.
