Dinner with Marisa I.
One of my favorite new recipes I found from Real Simple Magazine is Shrimp Boil Kabobs. Instead of wasting all the time putting all the ingredients on skewers, I put it all on the grill in a skillet and cook it that way. I used Polk’s smoked sausage local to South. Usually I use sausage with more flavor like Conecuh sausage that is made in southern Alabama. I had the Polk’s already so I used that and thought it still worked well in the dish. The photo here is from a skillet indoors on a regular stove. Doing it in a pan doesn’t give it that grill flavor you want with type of dish. It still tastes good when you have shrimp, sausage, corn, mushrooms, onions and red potatoes all thrown together. Super easy and highly recommended.
