My world has always revolved around food. Good food. Cheap food. Everybody loves food no matter what time of the day. Being Italian and having parents that made the kitchen the central location of our house, I was always welcome in the kitchen. Food reminds me of friends, family and good times. I hope to share good things through this small corner of the Internet.

Another course from the birthday party. I did not make this, a friend did and she did a excellent job. Close to the show extreme chef on food network, Leah used lemon juice normally reserved for bloody marys to make this amazing lemon meringue pie. We used what we had. The tall sided skillet was the closest thing available for a pie pan but it gave it plenty of height for all that fluffy meringue. Happy Birthday Matt!
